Weston Group of Moose International

The group is organising a best kept garden competition which is open for entries until July 31. There is also a competition aimed at the children to create an ‘alien in the garden’.

The term garden includes large and small and patios with potted plants and is not limited to flowers but includes vegetables, fruit and herbs. Judging emphasis will be on effort and thought expended rather than expense, so artificial plants will not count.

The entry fee is just £5 and the first prize is worth more than £50. All profits will be donated to the Great Western Air Ambulance.

Full details and an online entry form can be found at www.moose55wsm.co.uk

Gardens can be entered from Weston, Banwell, Hutton, Winscombe, Uphill, Worle and Kewstoke.
