PROPERTY Sharing Expert (PSE) estate agents in Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Somerset and Bristol were presented with awards for outstanding achievements at a Gala Awards ceremony which took place at Woodbury Park near Exeter on June 17.

The first ever Property Sharing Experts Gala Awards Ceremony recognised, celebrated and rewarded both professional and community accomplishments among its 80 member estate agencies.

Around 200 guests attended the event, which was compered by Alan Dedicoat – probably best known as the ‘voice of the balls’ on the BBC’s National Lottery programmes. Alan takes part in BBC telethons such as Children in Need announcing the amounts raised, is the voice over in Strictly Come Dancing and has just retired as a BBC Radio 2 newsreader.

Awards were presented to offices as well as individual staff members in a number of categories.

In addition, guests saw the debut screening of the network’s superb new film, which showcases the beautiful Westcountry, promotes the innovative PSE concept and explains the benefits of using a local experienced PSE estate agent. The film is now being used by the agents in their marketing and it can also be viewed on Youtube by searching for Property Sharing Experts.

Envelopes were also placed on the tables for donations to the nominated charity for the ceremony, Children’s Hospice South West, for which a grand total of more than £500 was raised. Operating three hospices – in North Devon, North Somerset and Mid Cornwall – the charity provides wide-ranging hospice care for children with life-limiting conditions and their families, including respite and short breaks as well as emergency, palliative and end of life care.

The event was held by Property Sharing Experts in partnership with its accredited suppliers, some of which held trade stands at the event, and sponsors, which included MoneyPenny, Ravensworth, Intouch Display, Rethink Marketing and BayTek.

Property Sharing Experts is the largest network of independent estate agents in the South West with more than 80 member offices all working together as a ‘super’ agency, providing what is effectively a multi-agency service for clients with more in-office and online exposure than any other estate agency, for a sole agency fee. The network provides many benefits for its members and their clients, including among others a presence in London with an office near Marble Arch.
