AFTER all the years I have known him I am a little surprised that Bob Craig thinks I could be taken in by glossies, particularly after I spent over 25 years in the computer industry, well renown for producing propaganda.
AFTER all the years I have known him I am a little surprised that Bob Craig thinks I could be taken in by glossies, particularly after I spent over 25 years in the computer industry, well renown for producing propaganda.
I respect Bob's opinions and I'm sure that we both wish to protect our environment for the future. It is true that the barrage cannot prevent downstream deluges caused by heavy rain but it will provide considerable protection from the inevitable rising sea levels and tidal surges.
The point about the Zeider Zee area is that well over 50 years ago the Dutch took positive action in the face of an overwhelming threat, the British people are no less resourceful and ambitious.
