I WONDER how many pupils whose RE lessons are 'spiced up' by trying on Islamic outfits, etc. will be told that, as reported in BBC Dispatches: domestic violence is higher against women in Muslim families than others; all mosques prevent women from equal participation in worship, many mosques even forbid women from entering the premises at all however much they cover themselves up! (Yes, we are talking about the UK!)Religious education should be concerned with reality not appearance, and Islam does not have a good record where the treatment of women is concerned. I hope that there will be no 'cover up' where this is concerned if this scheme is taken on.NAME AND ADDRESS SUPPLIED
