I HAVE just read the latest episode on the council approach to the Weston sea defence issue and am astonished they should even think about using such underhand tactics. Basically they are saying that if the public does not agree with their ridiculous proposals, the Environment Agency might make matters worse. Isn't this rather devious and do they have any proof? Some might call this threatening and playing on the fear factor that people might vote for it just in case. That reflects a lot.Perhaps they ought to listen to Cllr Mike Bell who thinks there is a solution for all, if only we were provided with all the options. What is it they don't understand about the word 'No'?MS J MASSABristol Road Lower, Weston
