There are rumours going around, North Somerset Council are considering not re-opening the recycling tip in Portishead. I hope the council will be quick to deny this and even quicker, to make good the rock face so this facility, which I might add is the best in North Somerset, can be used again. If residents from local areas such as Weston-super Mare, Backwell, and Avonmouth came to our facility they would soon be complaining about the poor facilities they have in their towns. Portishead residents have had to put up with travelling to these other facilities, whilst ours is out of action.
