I WAS sad to read on the front page of last week's Weston & Somerset Mercury how Weston YMCA in Bristol Road Lower, which has around 200 youngsters on its books helping to keep them off the streets, is being forced to close after more than 100 years due to lack of cash.It is purely a local charity and receives little local help. It's time we gave more support, and started an appeal.D F COURTNEY - Victoria Park, Weston
