AS owner of Weston's Indoor Market, and The Tudor Mall, 116 High Street, I have to say I find Nick Wilkins from the comments in your in briefly column to be derogatory and unfounded. Whilst the public should always be wary of what goods they purchase, and take into consideration where they purchase them from, to generally brush everybody with the same coat of paint is nothing short of ignorant. My traders have to comply with exactly the same rules and regulations and health and trading standards as all other High Street shops and other retail outlets.Whilst I accept that Mr Wilkins is trying to protect the public, to diminish genuine traders that have been established in Weston far longer than Mr Wilkins has been employed in Weston is incorrect. People can feel confident in buying in Weston Indoor Market in Dolphin Square, or The Tudor Mall, from traders who have been established for considerable periods of time, and who have built successful businesses based on the quality of goods, and service they supply.CHRIS JEFFRIES - Market owner
