The proposed site is not overlooked because it is the only truly open area open to locals and visitors alike.2. Public toilet will be open to increased vandalism.3. Cafe has been vacant for long periods in past - should it happen again - no refreshments.Ashlands is perfect - it is central to the town and a skateboard park could be easily integrated into the plans for a multi-use games area.
