TONY Probert is having another whinge about a few Conservative councillors in Weston having a meal at £11.50 a head, on the ratepayers of Weston. I didn't notice him complaining when, Tony Blair and Mrs Blair went swanning around Africa to say goodbye to a few presidents and prime ministers, in a hired Boeing 777 from British Airways, staying in five star hotels, at a cost to the British taxpayers of £1.6 million. Blair could have just sent them all a card and saved the country a fortune. Sounds a little like double standards to me.L H STENNER - Corondale Road, Weston
