Re: call for crossing at bottom of St Peter's Road. It is the parking of cars on both sides of the road, especially when the cafe is open. The new layout on the High Street at the bottom of the road causes traffic to slow down. The real problem is speeding motorists coming down St Peter's Road in a residential area of 30 miles per hour.A few speed bumps would be a great advantage for many cars are using this road to avoid the chaos at the Cabstand layout. If pupils adhered to the green cross code, I see no problem crossing St Peter's Road as it is only the morning walk to school and the afternoon departure from school when this road has an influx of pedestrians.I see no need for a pedestrian crossing at the bottom of St Peter's Road.J Martin - The Garstons, Portishead
