WHAT wonderful news to read that Weston is now a resort to be reckoned with, after the town's tourism industry experienced the biggest boom in the UK this year.I believe the reason why Weston is such an attraction has to be its long sandy beach, its fine promenade, the SeaQuarium, kite surfing, good quality shopping, plus good friendly hotels, and guest houses and a theatre with great shows.Few resorts in Britain can match its first class road and rail communications. Junction 21 on the M5 is only four miles from the seafront. Weston is only half an hour from Bristol by either car or train. There are excellent local bus and coach services, and Bristol airport lies just 15 miles or 30 minutes away. A great town we all love.D F COURTNEY - Victoria Park, Weston
