I AM writing to you with reference to your article reporting the sudden death of my wife Bonni Jenkins in last week's Mercury, dated April 27.Although the content of the article is fine, your newspaper has greatly distressed both myself and Bonni's family. I refer to the title 'Wife found dead at home', which was not the original title supplied to you by Pastor Mike Radcliffe from Destiny Christian Centre, who submitted the original article to you. I am extremely angry at the way your newspaper has sensationalised her death in a brutal and blunt manner. As you are editor of the Weston Mercury I feel that you have to take personal responsibility for this appalling form of headline grabbing. This title brought back all of the pain of that morning and this has not helped us, as her family, friends and I try to come to terms with her death. I cannot understand why you allowed one of your employees to do this and I would be reacting in exactly the same way if you had done this to someone else.PAUL JENKINS - Great Meadow Road, Bradley Stoke
