Re:Loretta Rugman's letter on January 24. Her suggestion for a teen bus service for Portishead, Clevedon, Nailsea and Pill is great. A much needed facility to enable young people to attend meetings, clubs, cinemas and various other events. Also it would provide an opportunity to do part time work as students need the money for sport, school trips and holidays. It would probably help stop some of the vandalism that takes place.Weston-super-Mare is not a desirable place in the evenings. The behaviour at night is shocking, mainly near The Cabot, Winter Gardens, Playhouse and Regent Street amusement arcade area.Despite the police surveillance I have witnessed many times hooliganism, drunkenness, fights, obscene language, often from shrieking girls.Males are seen urinating in public with girls watching.I lived there and many times I have seen police vans and ambulances in use. This makes young people vulnerable. I hope my three teenage grandchildren will not go to Weston-super-Mare.Name and address supplied
