ON JANUARY 30, I went to a barn dance that the Rotary members arrange yearly and it is excellent.
All ages attend from 10 to 90. This year there was a group of, average age, 16-year-olds celebrating one girl's 16th birthday, and they were the nicest bunch of people you could wish to meet.
It was a pleasure, and delight to dance with them, and great fun.
I hope they read this as I was sorry I didn't say this to them on the night, their parents can be very proud of them. I hope they come again next year.
