NINETEEN months ago (March 06) I asked the council to readjust a kerb on a Locking Road pavement. I use an invalid scooter and wheelchair. On reaching this kerb I have to leave the pavement, go onto the main road, around parked cars in the face of fast oncoming traffic and back onto the pavement.Last year I made two telephone calls and wrote three letters, all to no avail. Over the last two weeks I have tried to contact the person dealing with this matter. First, he was at a meeting in the Winter Gardens, then he could only be contacted through his voice mail. The manager was not available, the complaints department said they would pass it on. To date, no reply from anyone. I must now ask myself is this a council department or a music hall act, direct from the Playhouse! If I deferred my council tax payment for 19 months I would end up in prison. From this department, not even an apology.MR W DONKIN - Wellsea Grove, Weston
