Could I on behalf of the volunteers and staff of the RSPCA Charity Shop, Nailsea express our sincere gratitude, firstly to the North Somerset Times for featuring our recent robbery so prominently. Secondly to the many customers who came in to the shop expressing their disgust and making donations to compensate for the money that was stolen. As all the donations were given anonymously I cannot thank everybody personally. I will however mention Rebecca who gave her weeks pocket money of £5.80 and in doing so, did more to restore our faith in human nature than I am sure even she realised. I am pleased to say that we have more than recovered our losses. So a great big thank you to you all and in particular to Rebeca who though she did not know it gave more than money.Alan PlumptonRSPCA volunteer
