I would like to say a big thank you to the persons who telephoned my husband to rescue me when I was stranded after a walk near Cadbury Camp, having lost my car keys in an undignified tussel with a mare and her overly friendly foal.
An even bigger thank you should go to the enormously kind jogger who ran into Nailsea Police Station, deposited my keys and left without giving his name.
Finally thanks to the police who traced me via my library card tag and to my kind husband who twice made journeys to remedy my foolishness.
Such kindness in a world of which we often despair!
