I WOULD like to take this opportunity to congratulate Dennis Cole and Weston Youth Orchestra on their magnificent performance last Sunday evening at the Playhouse Theatre, Weston.Each time I attend one of their concerts, I am filled with pride. These young people are wonderful ambassadors for our town. We so often hear negative comments about the youth of today, but these young people are shining examples of all that is positive and good. Their conductor, Dennis Cole has been involved with the Weston Youth Orchestra since 1958 and at the Mayor's Ball on March 10, I awarded him the Borough Shield for his devotion to the young people of Weston, a very worthy winner.COUNCILLOR PAULA HOWELL - Town Mayor of Weston-super-Mare
