I HAVE just returned from an afternoon's glorious fun with my two grandchildren aged one and three years. It was rainy and blowing a gale outside but inside I was warm, noisy and full of laughter. Where was I? At the Bridgwater Splash. Why for goodness sake can't our idiotic council sort out the Tropicana and give Weston an amenity like Bridgwater's?This is the sort of thing we need in Weston for visitors and locals to enjoy. I suggest that the council members put their bathing costumes on and take a run down to Bridgwater just to get an idea of what the people of this town would like and not what the council thinks we ought to have.SUE RYALL - Via e-mail
