ARE we not in danger of getting things out of proportion? A few minor incidents of yobbery do not render Grove Park a no-go area for local bands. Neither does restoration work on the Marine Lake mean a loss for the town. Perhaps those who grumble forget that the millions now being invested in Weston must eventually improve things.I agree with those who say that the Tropicana should never have been closed but what's done is done. We are too far down the road with Henry Boot to turn back now. Of course, if he pulls out of the project then 'Friends of our Tropicana' should be given a chance - provided they can raise the money needed, because North Somerset doesn't have the cash.Weston is improving, albeit slowly, but years of neglect are not speedily rectified. My message to property owners is to smarten up. My message to residents is to remove litter and graffiti where possible. And planners must continue to permit the redevelopment of derelict sites. One day Westoners will again feel proud of their town.ROGER H BROWN - Jocelyn Drive, Worle
