THROUGH your letters page, please could we appeal for help? We are looking for people to take part in the Nationwide Bath half marathon on March 16, 2008, and wish to ask any of your readers if they would be interested in running on behalf of charity. We have a number of Golden Bond places to fill on behalf of three worthwhile causes. Our Golden Bond places guarantee runners a place in this popular half-marathon in return for raising £175 in sponsorship. We provide a fund-raising guide to help raise the sponsorship needed, offer help and advice along the way and a special team T-shirt to run in on the day. The charities involved provide their services in Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol, Wiltshire and throughout the South West.Hop Skip and Jump is a special place for children with life limiting and life threatening illnesses, or any special needs. SWALLOW is a small charity providing supported housing and education for people with learning disabilities in Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol and North Somerset. Focus Counselling is based at St Michael's Church in Bath. It was formed to provide counselling for those seeking to work through and resolve particular issues in their lives that may be undermining their mental and emotional health.
