I SEE, with dismay, that the proposal to build on the Italian Gardens is back on the agenda.How can this be allowed, when most people seem to want it to stay as an oasis in the middle of town?With the reduction of disabled parking, the infirm could make good use of additional seating. After all, who wants to sit on the concrete slabs around the carrot? They are exposed, too hot to sit on in the summer, and too cold in the winter.
