I WOULD like to thank the two Good Samaritans who helped me on the No 6 or 7 bus on Friday 13.
My shopping bag fell over and scattered Brussels sprouts and pears all over the floor of the bus. A very kind girl started to retrieve the spilt goods and in her efforts she fell headlong onto the floor of the bus. Fortunately she wasn't hurt and returned to her seat. She was followed by a man who helped retrieve the rest of my produce.
It is so good to know that Good Samaritans are still alive in this country which is sadly far too often beset with the 'I'm alright Jack' attitude.
I am very grateful to my two saviours on Friday 13 of all days!
