MAY I thank once more those local businesses who so kindly donated money to the King Kong project - first phase and second phase!When I, with the mayor of Weston, officially opened the sculpture the worry was what would become of him? We unfortunately were proved right.I felt at the time, and still do, that North Somerset Council let local businesses down very badly by not offering 24 hour security to go with the project. There is some doubt that funding will continue so I have notified the appropriate department in the council that I will donate some monies towards it from my small budget, if we have a shortfall.Thank you for your valued support in helping put Weston on the map again.CLLR ROZ WILLIS - Ashbury Drive, Weston
