SO the council voted unanimously yes for the Henry Boot plans, despite the huge petition against and the overwhelming number of objections on the council website. I have to ask: What was the point of the public consultations? Why bother to have a website that receives comments? It seems it was all a farce.I will never trust these councillors again. I feel, like I know many do, that the decision was made months ago, and that perhaps something other than democracy and representation of the community was in force here. Of course that can never be proved, but until these people are out of office I shall take no interest in their affairs. This was a very 'black' day for Weston indeed, and one which I fear we will live to regret. In addition, the total disregard for the views of English Heritage is scandalous, and again reflects the quality of our 'representatives'. I have never felt so let down and betrayed by people I thought I could trust.ROGER JONES - Clifton Road, Weston
