It seems that each day we see new plans for the Grand Pier and I cannot wait to see it up and running in all its glory. What a pity then that we cannot say the same for the ongoing saga of the Tropicana.

What should be the icing on the cake seems to have turned into a great lump of bread pudding. If only the powers that be had listened and chosen plans for a pool with a roof we would probably be well on our way to completion by now.

I should think by now even Henry Boot is fed up with all the delays - especially in these difficult financial times. Never mind, at least we can see things happening with the pier and the wheel and all credit to the planners if they give the green light for these initiatives to go ahead.
