Where are all out police hiding?

HAVE we become a police free zone? Where are all our police hiding? They certainly are not around any more. Last year it was common to see police on our estate (Bournville), just walking around and talking to the residents. Now we have young kids riding on mini motors and large scrambler type bikes along the cycle paths and on the roads, no safety helmets and no regard for other people on the cycle paths. Only a matter of time before someone has a serious accident.This time last year these kids would have been caught and dealt with accordingly, but as we are a 'police free zone' they do what they like. I always thought the community police should police the community, so come out of hiding, the warmer weather is here now, don't be shy, come out and get to know us.We used to know all the police on our estate, from the sergeant down, but no more, so what has gone wrong this year?
