AN EVENT to show off a life-size model house crammed with energy saving gadgets has been cancelled.
The 100 Ideas House was due to be unveiled at the Campus in Locking Castle this week but North Somerset Council has experienced 'technical issues with the construction of the house'.
The house would have been full of environmentally friendly and energy saving devices and ideas to show people how they can help tackle climate change.
The project has been put together by the Centre for Sustainable Energy (CSE) and the West of England Partnership, which includes North Somerset Council.
A spokesman for the council said an alternative date and venue will be announced as soon as it has been arranged.
