13-year-old robbed of his bike - police appeal

A TEENAGER was robbed of his mountain bike in Weston last week and police have issued an appeal to try to track down the thief.

The 13-year-old was cycling on his BMX on a track at the back of Puttingthorpe Drive on May 21 at about 6.50pm when a man walking in the opposite direction stopped him and stole his bike.

Police are trying to identify the man and have described him as 20-30 years old, aroung 5ft10in tall with a slim build and dark hair. He was carrying a small black backpack.

Police are appealing for the man to come forward or anyone with information to contact them on 101.
