A 20-YEAR-OLD Weston man has been acquitted of raping his childhood sweetheart.
Nicholas Chaplin, of Hans Price Close, was found not guilty on three counts after a three-day trial at Bristol Crown Court.
He had been accused after allegations were made against him by a girl he used to 'meet up with' when he was a teenager.
She had been on a night out with work colleagues on December 19 last year where she had been drinking vodka Red Bulls.
