GRAVESTONES in a Clevedon churchyard will be inspected to make sure they are safe.
Memorials outside St Andrew's Church, in Coleridge Road, were tested for safety 18 months ago and those that were cracked or had loose brickwork will be re-inspected on February 25.
Neglect and poor workmanship can mean that some become unsafe and these will be either laid flat or temporarily supported with stakes.
Relatives who may have any concerns about the inspection can contact Pauline Pearce at North Somerset Council's Street and Open Spaces service on 01934 888802.
