Asda in Weston will give out Go Green vouchers to anyone who brings in their old carrier bags to pack their shopping.
Schools collecting the vouchers can then exchange them for grow beds, pocket microscopes, solar panels, remote camera bird tables and a whole host of eco-goodies.
Corpus Christi, Locking Primary, Milton Park and Wyvern Community Schools in Weston and St Martin's Junior School in Worle are all taking part in the scheme.
