During the last three years, 22 people aged 16-24 died and 226 of the same age were seriously injured on the roads.
Somerset Road Safety Partnership (SRSP) will hand out roses to young people to remind them to drive safely to avoid a crash.
Love Heart sweets will also be given out along with a leaflet containing road safety advice, as part of the Show You Care campaign.
The majority of young drivers killed and seriously injured on Somerset roads are young men, with more young women injured while travelling as a passenger.
SRSP spokesman Rina Cameron said: "It has been shown that driving fast does not impress girls at all, in fact quite the opposite as it shows a lack of respect, which is a message we would like to get across to young men.
"A few moments of thoughtlessness can lead to tragedy which will haunt them for the rest of their lives."
The partnership aims to reduce the number of people killed or seriously injured on Somerset roads by between 35 and 40 per cent in the next three years.
