NORTH Somerset Council could be doing more to help the environment, it has been claimed.
Graham Found, a member of the children and young people's scrutiny committee, says he receives paperwork from the unitary authority despite asking for minutes and agendas to be sent electronically.
The Banwell parish councillor, also a Westhaven School Governor, uses his laptop when attending other meetings to reduce the amount of paper he uses.
He said: "The district council is the only body which still sends me reams so it is not doing everything it can to help the environment."
Executive member for the environment, Carl Francis-Pester, said: "We are always looking at how we can improve. In this instance, we cannot assume all committee members have access to email so we have to be practical.
