VILLAGERS in Wraxall can remember their lost loved ones this Christmas by hanging glittering stars on a Christmas tree.
Children's Hospice South West is holding its sixth Memory Star Appeal and giving people the chance to pay tribute to a family member or friend while raising money for charity.
Throughout December, people can write the name of their loved one on Christmas star decorations, which will be hung on a tree at All Saints Church in Wraxall after paying a small donation.
The charity is also encouraging churches, clubs and businesses to organise their own memory star trees to raise cash for terminally ill youngsters.
Last year the appeal raised £50,000, but organisers are hoping to hit the £70,000 mark this year.
