FARMERS in the district are being urged to provide shelter for barn owls on their land.
The North Somerset group of the Hawk and Owl Trust has raised funds to buy nesting boxes, which will be supplied free to the first 10 farmers to contact it.
Conservation officer, Chris Sperring, will also give habitat advice about how farmers can help barn owls on their land.
Farmers wanting to take up the offer should call Chris on 01275 849287 or email Chris.Sperring@btinternet.com
