GREEN-fingered residents from Axbridge could soon be sowing, pruning and weeding with friends on a community allotment.
GREEN-fingered residents from Axbridge could soon be sowing, pruning and weeding with friends on a community allotment.
The town council is considering renting some land for the project and is asking anyone interested to come forward.
The allotment would be a project for gardeners in the village to work on. There are already about 20 allotments in Hillside but there is a long waiting list.
Two residents asked the council to consider setting up the scheme, which has already been piloted in Bristol.
Anyone interested in taking part in a community allotment can contact the council via its website at www.axbridge-tc.gov.uk
