WESTON'S carnival kicks off at 7.15pm tonight with live music followed by the glittering main procession at 7.30pm.
The route will follow the same as previous years starting at the Tesco roundabout, past the Odeon cinema and back along the Alexandra Parade, Alfred Street, Boulevard and Waterloo Street.
South Parade will be used as a rest area for the floats and their performers before they continue their way on to Royal Parade, Beach Road and Carlton Street where the procession will end.
The floats will line up at Locking Road car park, which will be closed to the public, before winding their way through Weston's streets.
The central car parks will not be available after 6pm following the road closures. Spectators wishing to park in Carlton Street, NCP or Town Hall car parks are advised to arrive before 6pm. No cars will be allowed to park on the road alongside the route.
