A display of crystals and minerals is now being exhibited in Cheddar. The collection of 844 has crossed the globe from around the world to be shown at Cloud 9 in Queen's Row. The unusual displays have been set in a make-shift mine complete with tunnels and authentic-looking rock faces.Proprietor Terry White said: "We are hoping the collection will grow so we eventually have 1,000. It is very colourful and we have already had lots of visits."The rocks are from all over the world but some were formed locally in Priddy."The exhibition was opened on November 2 by Terry's grandsons Michael, aged 10 and seven-year-old Thomas. Visitors can view the exhibition six days a week (closed on Wednesdays) until Easter. * Pictured: Terry with his grandsons Michael and Thomas.
