SPEEDING motorists in Worle had better watch out as residents are about to go out in force and catch them at it.After a year-long battle to start a speedwatch group, North Worle Local Action Team (LAT) has been told it will get the proper equipment to start going out on the streets. The approved locations that the group will be able to stand at and catch speeding drivers are part of the Queens Way and a location near Priory Community School.LAT treasurer, John Turner, said: "The police have told us they can provide us with speed cameras. We have permission to go out to six sites around North Worle where the police have done an audit and made sure it is safe."We are going to buy the yellow jackets we need. Then it is up to the police to provide the cameras. The group will have to go through training."We have seen some bad accidents and if cars are doing the wrong speed, hopefully the group will be able to take action to help reduce the number of accidents and injuries in the area.
