A huge public consultation is being carried out in North Somerset this month to find out people's views on waste.Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset Councils are working together to come up with ways to keep rubbish out of landfills to avoid Government fines.Members of the public will be able to have their say on the technology used and where new waste facilities will be sited in North Somerset.Public meetings will be held in each area along with roadshows and presentations in February and March.Surveys will be available at libraries, council offices and one-stop shops and people will be able to fill in the surveys on line at www.rubbishorresource.co.uk after January 25.
