WORK to improve road access to a supermarket in Weston is causing traffic chaos.Shopper Emma Rex, aged 42, from Weston, has vowed never to visit ASDA again after waiting in a queue for over 30 minutes to leave the Phillips Road store.Emma said: "The queue didn't move at all. In the end I left my car in the car park and walked to my husband's shop in Locking Road."It was terrible. Nobody from the store even came out to apologise. I won't be shopping there again."ASDA is footing an £800,000 bill on creating a new filter lane and installing new traffic lights to allow cars travelling on the Weston Links side of Herluin Way to turn into Searle Crescent, rather than having to do a U-turn at the busy Winterstoke Road roundabout. The dual carriageway has been cut down to one lane causing traffic delays and the work is due to finish on April 16.
