AN ASPIRING young model from Worle who has bravely battled against serious illness will have her dream come true.Luci Jones, of Sophia Gardens, has had her wish granted by the Starlight Children's Foundation charity.The 14-year-old Worle Community School pupil will be sent to London to take part in a professional photo shoot. She will then be given a full portfolio of pictures, which she will be able to send to modelling agencies.Luci discovered she had a rare form of cancer, Langerhan Cell Histiostysosis, when she was nine and developed a lump in her throat. Since then she has put on a brave face in her fight against serious health problems. At the moment Luci is on morphine slow release tablets as well as oral chemotherapy. But the brave youngster, who was nominated for her wish by her social worker, is looking forward to her trip to London.She said: "I like the idea of having a photo shoot and being pampered. I'm also looking forward to seeing the sites of London and spending my mum's money at the WAGS Boutique.
