HISTORIC cruise ship the Balmoral is returning to home waters and starting a seven week sailing programme from Weston and Clevedon Piers.Following visits to Calais, France, to celebrate the port's 150th year and Rotterdam, Holland, to attend the Volvo Ocean Race, the pleasure ship is expected to have over 55,000 passengers in the next few weeks.All the old favourite routes are included such as day trips to the seaside at Ilfracombe and Penarth, cruises around the Holm Islands, journeys exploring the Avon, Severn and Wye Rivers and trips to the National Trust Island of Lundy. There will also be evening showboats with live music.On board there is a restaurant, two bars, heated lounges and a souvenir shop. For more details call 0845 130 4647.
