PROPOSALS to knock down a prominent toilet block to cut down on antisocial behaviour and relieve traffic congestion have been rebuked.Managers at The Kings of Wessex Community School in Cheddar had suggested knocking down the Station Road toilets to discourage yobs gathering there and make it easier for buses to turn around.Sedgemoor District Council is also looking at closing all four public toilet blocks in the village as part of a massive cost-cutting scheme. But parish councillors say they will be campaigning to keep all toilets in the village open, despite the school's proposal, as they believe they are vital for both residents and tourists.
