STAFF at a Wraxall zoo farm have more reason than most to use the phrase 'See you later, alligator'.Workers at Noah's Ark Zoo Farm have just taken delivery of two young alligators called Aussie Irwin and Ali Alligator.Aussie has been named after modern day Crocodile Dundee Steve Irwin who died last month after being attacked by a stingray while underwater filming. The new arrivals will live in the centre's reptile house and will have their own pond filled with goldfish.Noah's Ark Zoo Farm spokesman Adam Beaumont said: " The alligators are coming from Europe and will join our other animals in the reptile house."We already have a range of reptiles such as tree frogs and a chameleon and the alligators will be joining them."The reptile house has recently undergone a makeover ready for the alligators, who will be able to relax in a heated pool full of fish.Adam said: "We have put goldfish in the pond for the alligators."They won't eat them but they will keep them occupied."The alligators are currently about four to five feet long, but keepers at the farm expect them to grow much larger.
