A Cheddar pensioner died after plunging off a bridge onto the M5 motorway.Joan Harrill, aged 77, apparently fell from the Edingworth overbridge near Rooksbridge onto the northbound side of the motorway, shortly after 6am on November 10. Police closed the northbound carriageway between junction 22 and 21, causing lengthy delays to motorists entering and leaving Weston. The police are now keen to speak to a Somerfield lorry driver and a Tesco lorry driver, believed to have been in the area at the time.
