THE first giraffe to ever set foot in Somerset is bound to be a big hit with visitors to a Wraxall tourist attraction. The 18-month-old has just arrived at Noah's Ark Zoo Farm and is settling into his 'palatial' home which is believed to be the first giraffe house in England with underfloor heating. Thanks to a high viewing platform, adults and children will be able to see North Somerset's example of the tallest living four-legged animal at eye level. They will also have the chance to feed the large African creature, named Gerald, which was born at a European zoo, by hand.
