Have you ever dreamed of becoming a firefighter? If so, there is an event next month which will be a great experience.
Avon Fire and Rescue Service will hold an open day at its Weston headquarters at the start of December.
Visitors will be able to get a rare behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to be a crew member based in Weston.
Demonstrations will be held, showing how firefighters deal with car crashes and dangerous rescue missions.
There will also be practical advice on offer for the public, with fire safety tips being provided throughout the event.
Hot drinks and mince pies will also be available.
The open event will be held at the station, in Milton Road, on December 2 and it is due to run from 10.30am-3pm.
